I have had cartridges that where built with WebServer
2.0.1.0.1 with Oracle 7. I have upgraded to Oracle 8i
and WebDB 2.1 (don't use WebDB 2.0, very buggy just to
install). WebDB 2.1 has an install bug that you will
need to call Oracle about to have your TNSnames.ora
file "fixed" to be read during install...but that's
another story.
Anyway, the old cartridges seem to be doing fine
in the new version. I just had to remember to
make a new listener. Oracle was actually very
help. Glad I got their support. It saved me
MANY hours of frustration.
