PL/SQL Web Packages - Flip table sideways

I am fairly week on the use of arrays. I need some help in taking a query with columns across, and then inserting them into an array to spit them back out to where the columns become row headers and the indexed items, stores in this case, become columns. Oracle as I found out does not handle 2 dimensional arrays, not that it would help me to understand, but it seems that a single dimensional array will work, as long as shove values in properly.. anyone experience the need to flip a table on its axis and back ?
