Reporting Tool Selection: Help!

I have posted this email several times before. I didn't really get any answers. I thought that maybe this was a question that is asked often and thus, no one wanted to bother with it again. But, I will ask anyway.

I am searching for a reporting tool. We develop using designer/developer and we publish the FMX on our webserver (3 teir). We are using Oracle 8. Our need is for about 6-12 people to be able to create ad hoc queries and reports. They also need to be able to extract data to load into other programs (like SPSS). I have experience with discoverer, but it was really overly complex and my users here are not that savy.

So, my question is ... From your experience, what do you reccomend? Do you know of any good sources that I can browse that might have information of various products? Is Web DB the answer?
