ORB startup in NT with V 4.0.7 Web Application Server

I seem to be having an issue getting the Object Request Broker to startup with Version 4.0.7 of the Web Application Server in NT.

I've tried several methods. owsctl start -orb, starting the orb through the Web Application Server manager.

I see the following processes:
mnorbctl.cgi
owsctl.exe
oasadmin
mnmon40.exe

mncnmsrv40.exe
mnlogsrv40.exe
mnorbsrv40.exe
mnorbmet40.exe

But then they just start dropping off after about a minute. Here is the message that I get:

Oracle Application Server

[Quoted] Please wait while the command is being processed on host barnhart ... Starting ORB processes...
Returning filename D:\ORA_OAS\orb\admin\.event waiting for ORB to be ready...
ORB is not responding. Please restart manually...

Of course I get the same thing when I try to run it manually through owsctl start -orb.

This is what resides in the mncnmsrv.log file. 1999/09/04 20:37:53.05 YDUT-1579 6 mncnmsrv: Option '-f' specified, deleting all old names
1999/09/04 20:37:53.08 YDUT-1574 6 mncnmsrv: initializing cell OORB 1999/09/04 20:37:53.12 YDUT-1576 6 mncnmsrv: populating with cell root contexts

1999/09/04 20:37:54.32 YDUT-1531 6 Entering service loop

There's supposed to be another log file, mnlogsrv.log,but I don't see it.

Here are some error messages from some of the services: File mnorbsrv249.out states:
ydMain: orb.mnorbsrv caught IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 from d:\opt\mx\src\yo\yoc\yocorb.c 780, exiting

File mnorbmet316.out states:
orb.mnorbmet caught exception IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0, exiting

So, any help would be greatly appreciated.
