keyboard navigation in FORMS50

I want to change the nextfield-jump with return- or tab-key at runtime dependend on given values.

I have tried a lot like:

   set_item_property('block.field',next_navigation_item,'field2'); or

   set_item_property('block.field2',enabled,PROPERTY_FALSE / TRUE);

in when-validate-item or pre-text-item, but nothing works really satisfiying.

who ca give me a hint?
