Using GCC to compile Oracle v8.0.5 OCI

Any one has used "gcc" to compile Oracle v8.0.5 OCI c++ file without any problem?

Any one has used "gcc" to compile Oracle v8.0.5 OCI c++ file without any problem?
Currently I can use "gcc",which 2.8.1, compile the OCI c++ program without any problem. But when I run the process, OCI call "olog", it can be connected to Oracle. If anyone can,please help me.
