After creating the parameter block in Forms, and creating the User Parameters in reports, you can then edit the Parameter screen, and in the parameter form builder (right click on the parameter form) you can disconnect all the parameters. You can delete all the text from the Parameter form, leaving a blank screen...And then you will not get any pause for user intervention.
I have a number of reports I launch this way with no problems.
