Help: ProC on Digital Unix

[Quoted] I installed ProC on my Digital Unix 4.0c server and am having some difficulties. I did the install off of the Oracle 8 Enterprise Edition Version 8.05.0.0 for Digital UNIX CD. When I try and run proc I get the following:

17375:./proc: /sbin/loader: Error: unresolvable symbol in ./proc: pread 17375:./proc: /sbin/loader: Error: unresolvable symbol in ./proc: pwrite

17375:./proc: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: this executable has unresolvable symbols

I did the exact same install on my SGI Irix 6.5 server and proc works like a charm?

Anyone encounter this before?
