I'm new to the Oracle world and not understanding why I am receiving an error.

In the Enterprise Manager, I'm trying to do a simple database shutdown, but receive the following in the failed list:

VNI-2015 : authentication error

What did I do wrong? It's just a simple command.

Any help would be appreciated.
