Oracle is now pricing WebDB for deployment. What seemed to be a cheap and easy way to publish database data has turned into a rather expensive playing tool. In Norway Internet deployment of WebDB apps amounts to ca. 60% of the 8i server license price.

- On a 450MHz/1CPU NT-machine this makes 103.500NKr (~$13.400) for deployment of a WebDB app, and 171.000NKr (~$22.200) for the 8i server.
