Oracle Navigator question

I am trying to populate a table in Pers Oracle 7 for NT using Navigator. I want to populate two fields with Date AND Time data. I chose a DATE data type. I can fill in the date as: yy-Month (spelled out)-dd. However, it balks if I continue to fill in the time value. How can I populate my fields with date and time data?

 Also, if I fill in a row, then want to go back and change it, Navigator won't let me. It will not allow me to make a change to a field I have already filled in.

 What I may need is a guide to Navigator, or perhaps a suggestion for a better tool for creating Oracl db's in Personal Oracle 7 for NT. Thee help files are worthless. Any suggestions?
