I've installed Developer 6 on a local Oracle 8.0.4 server.Don't create a
second home.
When the installation is complete copy Ns80.dll from oracle8.04 cd to
orant/bin, otherwise the server won't start.
If you have anything valuable on database, make a backup before installing
developer ,because you never know:)
