I've seen similar things in Reports. I've seen 2 causes for this. Firstly when you have variables in program units which have not had their value set at the time you output them so the output field may be null or zero depending on your declaration. In the 2nd run they will still have the value from the 1st run when output. The second is where some database update performed by the first run is required to get correct output. On the 2nd run, providing you're in the same Reports session, the updates from the 1st are still there even if you haven't issued a commit.
