If you are referring to the form in enter-query mode, this is correct. If in the enter-query mode the checkbox would have a value, and the checkbox refers to a database item, it would set a query condition without user input. A straightforward query - with no conditions - would not return the entire table, but only the rows matching the default. If you click or unclick the checkbox, it will receive a value
