help on installing d2k(forms 5.0)

hi all, I have loaded developer 2000(forms 5.0) on my machine. But when i try to open developer i get an error saying help file not found and i cannot access the help. I checked up whether there was enough space in the system. I have 700 mb of free space. I don't think it is a problem with space. I don't know why that problem is occurring. When i try loading on other machines it works, but not on my machine. I checked up whether help files are loaded on the appropriate directories. They are in their proper directories.
