Re: Host call to sqlplus from forms4.5

Did you try it ? According to on-line help it is only for character mode, but we have been using it from forms 4.5/5.0 to Win 3.11, 95, NT3.51, and NT4.0 for about 2 Yrs now. And it does not open a screen as you describe yours does. So maybe you can tell me what is a GUI environment ? HOST ( 'PLUS33W -S _at_script.sql Param1 Param2', NO_SCREEN ); also HOST ( 'SQLLDR73', NO_SCREEN );
We have about 6-12 forms used for various input and output uses.
