Reports 3.XX: How Programmatically Change the Data Column Properties

I wonder if it is possible to programmatically change the properties of a database column in Reports 3.xxx. What I am more interested is to alter the property "Break Order" , say Ascending to Desc or to None. Is this possible? If so how?
