Recognized leader in online direct marketing has an exciting opening for a Senior Oracle Web server e-commerce application developer, who is eager to take advantage of a ground floor opportunity to help revolutionize the online direct marketing industry.
Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years experience in Oracle application development, working on the backend database development, with 2+ years experience developing commercial web based database e-commerce solutions using Oracle or Sybase on a UNIX Platform. Must have 1+ years experience programming C on UNIX at the command level. Should have experience with Perl script, or Unix Shell script and HTML programming. Must know programming at the FTP level on UNIX. Must have good experience with Oracle PL/ SQL programming. Should be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP and UTP protocols and have experience programming applications that use them heavily. Any experience with PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator or other tools is a definite bonus. Must be able to showcase examples of their web-based database work. Must be self starters, creative, and be able to work in start-up environment, where change and flexibility are traded for opportunity to have an impact and reap future financial rewards. BSCS required. Salary: $50 - $85K Base, plus stock options. May consider part time virtual workers after first 90 days of employment.
