Web Deployment of existing application

Hi All!
[Quoted] i want to deploy an existing developer 200 (r2.1) oracle 8 application on the web. I was going through the documentation. Do you need to procure developer 2000/server at all or will the existing s/w suffice.Also can we get demo /beta versions for the same. Has anyone done this before. Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
