Recommendations on SQL Embedding in C Tutorials?

Greetings! (I apoligize as this is not an Oracle question per se)

I'd like to learn more about the above. I do have basic SQL & Oracle knowledge, but I have no idea as to how to go about embedding SQL in C, C++, or Java.

I would like to start off learning how to embed SQL statements in C first off, so I'd really appreciate it if you could lead me to some URLs that would provide tutorials on this technique. Thanks in advance.
