Relinking Oracle on HPUX 10.x with year2000.o?

Hi,
Our sysadmin installed the HPUX OS Y2K patches on our HPUX 10.10 and 10.20 servers? Do I have to relink Oracle with the newly installed year2000.o library? He showed me a White Paper claiming "all" applications should relink to year2000.o. Is this valid for Oracle?
