The ShellExecute function opens or prints a specified file. The file can be an executable file or a document file. See ShellExecuteEx also.
or you could use...
FindExecutable: This function retrieves the name and handle to the executable (.EXE) file associated with the specified filename.
These are both available from shell32.lib
