PWD in ODBC Setup

Can i specify the password in my Oracle 8.0.4 ODBC driver, so that any application
connects to the specified datasource user the same Userid and password.
The ODBC setup allows me to enter just the UserID, but not the password.
Any help appreciated. I tried entering the UID/PWD_at_Instance format in the
UserId column, but did not work
