Hello,
I am a database novice who just finished installing Oracle7.3.2 on Solaris. I am doing this to "port" a website from one university to another.
Is there any "command" in svrmgrl or oracle sql whereby the database I want to port can be written to a file by the "old" website and then the database recreated from the file at the new website? (I guess something like sybase's bcp;bulkcopy?).
I was also told by the webmaster at old site that some of the code needs ODBC. Does Oracle7.3.2 support some such library or do I need to get some kind of patch?
thanks in advance for you help.
