That's pretty much it Ernst.

The Square is a value that is not inherited from the default value. Therefore the diamond is a value that has been changed from the default value.

Note: The value may be the same as the default and show a square which means that it's not inherited from the default.

Use the red bargraph like button at the top to inherit the default value for the property.

When you subclass properties from another item, the subclassed properties get a backward <Enter> arrow. When the subclass values change the arrow has a red x over the arrow. Use the same bargraph button to re-establish the inherited value.
