We are working on developing a major application using OWAS 3.0. A substantial portion of which is already under Beta release is being used extensively over Intranet by multiple users over a WAN.

The platform includes OWAS 3.0.18 implemented on Sun Ultra Sparc II / Solaris 2.6. The database server is Oracle 7.3.2 on Sun E3000. The development has been carried out under Solaris 2.5.1 on Sun Sparc 20.

We use the PLSQL cartridge extensively for combining database information with rich HTML form interface. Performance-wise and stability wise there have been no major issues so far. The custom WRB cartridge however fared poorly as the concept of bouncing the OWAS for smallest changes to the WRB cartridges did not work at all in a multi-programmer environment. We have discontinued with that.
