...and I assume you got it all working? I'm using the JDBC 111 classes and Communicator 4.06 to connect to an Orac8 DB. I tried the 'UniversalConnect' also. The browser ask me to grant the privilege but the java console still tels me that I 'I couldn't connect to aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd from origin eee.fff.ggg.hhh' so the bloody thing does not work!!! Reading several newgroups tells me that a lot of people got this problem but not the solution. The difference is that you're using the 102 classes and perhaps another browserversion. Did you have any problems in getting the thing to work?
