Using the most recent release of Dev2000 - 2.1 -, you have to store your word doc into a longraw. To display this longraw object you will have to declare it in Forms as a type Word OLE object. The document may also be updated.
Release 6 of Developer will provide support for LOB objects and therefore it will easier to manage Word or image document.
Release 6 of Developer is already available as beta at http://technet.oracle.com/?tb10.20
