Dev/2k Server Question

I am running Dev/2K Server 1.6.1 on Solaris. Upon exiting my application, the Forms Server Runtime Engine (f45runw) instance does not go away or even remain idle, but continues to rack up cpu time. It does not matter if I close the browser either.
