Oracle offers ODBC drivers for free download at http://www.oracle.com/products/free_software/.

Microsoft also offers free ODBC drivers (and even for Oracle) at http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm.

InterSolve makes *very good* ODBC drivers, but you have to pay a price for them.

You will need to install the Oracle SQL*Net client software on your PC at home. This "sits" below the ODBC driver on your PC and is what you use to communicate to an Oracle database.
