Are you using the exact same URL's to access the default listeners (admin at 8888 and www at 80) as you were before? I am also working with NT 4.0 and OWAS 3.0.1 but am using newer browsers (Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Navigator 4.06). Until earlier this week, I was plagued by the same error you are getting, but it was appearing when I entered only the machine name in the URL. When I included the domain name, however, the connection was established just fine. What I took away from this experience was that the URL entered in the browser must match EXACTLY the "Host Name" specified for the listener. I can't say for sure that this will help, but you might doublecheck in the Network Parameters section for the configuration of the admin listener.
