I allso noticed that.
I would explain it like that:
1. For Forms over web LOV is java class.
2. To get better starup performance the class is not loaded during
initialization.
3. When you call LOV for the first time, java class is downloaded from
server and initialized, so you have to wait some time (few seconds
if working with modem)
4. When calling LOV-s for second, third... and n-th time, the class is
already loaded and initialized. So it works fast.
Solution: There is a way to copy all java classes on client side (thin
client? not any more). Sorry, but I didn't give much effort
to wind out how. Just haven't got the time yet. If somebody
allready knows how, please let me know.
