Re: Storing images in an Oracle database

Hi,

My company uses Oracle, and Uniface (a GUI front end, popular in Europe).

I was able to store and retrieve images into the database by: - making an entity/table with a long raw column - making a form in Uniface with an image field.

        Originally, this pointed to a supported image file type. - When the image was on screen, I then stored the row.

Later, I changed the form, so that it didn't point to the file. The image retrieved fine. It was rather neat to work with.
