In order to replicate databases, you first need to define what form that replication takes. Do you wish to replicate all objects and all data; or all objects and a sub-set of data, or a sub-set of object and data. If sub-setting is required, then you will need to define to the extract proceedure the logical relationships between tables.
'Move for Servers' from Princeton Softech allows you to do this easily, providing a reliable and fast relational data extract and insert facility, as well as the ability to extract the DDL for the source objects. The DDL can then be tailored to the users requirements and applied at the same or a different Oracle image.
Move for Servers also allows the user to tailor the data at insert ( for example aging dates either linearly or semantically.).
