Try to use an outer join. I tried then following script and the results looked rather good :
Select t1.acc_no
, t1.acc_nm
, sum(t2.amt) total
From table1 t1
, table2 t2
Where t1.acc_no = t2.acc_no (+)
Group by t1.acc_no, t1.acc_nm
/
