Forms 5.0 communicating with Word 97 with DDE

I am using Forms 5.0 with DDE to communicate with Microsoft Word97. I am using DDEPOKE and a bookmark in Word. Then the document is filled with information.
Another time I call the saved document again (with a list of generated documents in Forms). After I have read the document I close Word. Then I want to detect with Froms if the document has been changed. If it is changed then I want to get the new name of the document and want to place it in the Oracle database. I need to detect if the document was modified and what the new name is Via DDEREQUEST????
