I'm having problem with my SQL Plus 8.0 connecting to my NT 4.0 machine. The TNSnames.ORA file are the same on both the computers & the Listener is running properly on my NT machine. I'm able to connect locally from my NT machine but cannot connect from the '98 machine. SQL Plus crashes when I specify the "host string" part corresponding to the entry in TNSnames. I'm using TCP & I'm able [Quoted] to ping across machines. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
