Designer 2.1 and Oracle 7.3.3.4.1

[Quoted] Getting the following error while trying to reverse engineer tablespace definitions from Oracle version 7.3.3.4.1 into Designer 2.1 repository.

The error : CDI-15007 : ( Oracle Error ) ORA:904

This doesn't happen if the database version is 8.0.x.

Also, reverse engineering of datafiles doesn't work properly on 7.3.3.4.1 ( HP-UX).

Would there be a compatibility issue 'tween the two?
