Greetings!

[Quoted] [Quoted] I'm about to take a database course in school and the textbook we're going to use [Quoted] [Quoted] will not cover anything about SQL (PL/SQL) or Oracle, which are the languages we [Quoted] [Quoted] must do our assignments in, but it'll just cover the "theory" of database.

[Quoted] Can some of you please recommend a book for a beginner who does have programming [Quoted] [Quoted] experience, but is completely new to the query language? In particular, I'd like [Quoted] some books on the above mentioned languages. The books I have looked at in [Quoted] [Quoted] bookstores about SQL and Oracle don't seem to cover the syntax of the langs too much [Quoted] [Quoted] at all, like, say K&R does for C or Stroustrup does for C++. Thank you very much in advance!

With Best,

Steve
