You could add a function column (cf_pagenumber) that returns: :&pagenumber/2

In the layout editor double click the field that displays the pagenumber and change the source from &pagenumber into cf_pagenumber.

I think this will work.

There might occur a frequency problem so check in what group to add the function column.
