Excellent help, thanks! I hacked around using blocks for each of the foreign keys and populating the base table when clicking of the FKs... this also required that I prevented Forms 'doing its thing' when I navigated out of the base block and then created the record when the selection had been made... it works but it doesn't 'feel' the right way to do it. I'll have a look at the LOVs.
