Hey Ren'e
When I checked, (weeks ago) there were NO manuals available from Oracle for Developer 2000 R2., Oracle was trying to generate new education courses for R2 products, but they didn't sell any books or manuals like those expected. I cannot speak for Oracle, but I believe they expressed that the help system was pursued as a mechanism for documentation.
Dev2K books I've got (4) are handbooks, NONE are good reference for examples or explanations.
Reports R2 (Version 3.0) is a lot like Reports 2.5. The manuals for 2.5 cover details of creating reports, and working with the environment. You could make progress with 2.5 manuals if your working with 3.0.
I understand forms are significantly different between 4.5 and 5.0, but I haven't spent much time there to know first-hand. Anyway I wouldn't recommend you use the old manuals on the new product.
I'd write more, but I think this covers your question and I'm working too hard not to express fatique and frustration with Oracle Development tools.
Please let me know if you stumble across a source of information that works.
