SQL*NET Questions

Can SQL*NET V1 and SQL*NET V2 both running on the same Oracle server? [Quoted] This is because some client applications use SQL*NET V1 and some use SQL*NET V2. Also, how to check which version of SQL*NET is running? Can the server shows both versions when both versions are running? And how to start version 1?
