I'm not sure what "Standard" you are talking about. My standard is I put items wherever I want and easy to show my users.

Answers to the other questions....

The startup FMB has the property MENU MODULE. If you change that from DEFAULT to you new .MMX file, that will become your menu. The new MMX should be in the working directory of the application to be found easily.

To start with the default menu and make chages, use the MENUDEF.MMB supplied in the forms45\demos\DFLTMENU folder of the developer 2000. You may have to install the forms demos, if you haven't already done so.

Hope that gives the start you are looking for.
