A requirement for my current project is that the communication between a PC
and an Oracle server be secure. I would like to use Microsoft ODBC 3.0 SDK
as the API.
Does Microsoft ODBC use SQLNet for transmissions, or does ODBC communicate
with the remote databases directly?
Can ODBC do administrative commands such as CREATE USER for Oracle?
Is or can SQLNet or ODBC transmissions be secured (encrypted)?
