  • ORACLE SHOWCASES WEB DEVELOPER SUITE 1.6 At Spring Internet World in Los Angeles, Oracle debuted Web Developer Suite 1.6, a comprehensive tool package that includes current versions of Developer/2000, Designer/2000, Oracle Application Server, Oracle8 and Oracle7 databases, and Symantec Corp.'s Visual Page HTML editor, as well as a final beta version of AppBuilder for Java.
  • THREE NEW TOOLKITS AID DATABASE ADMINISTRATORS Oracle Corp. announced three toolkits designed to help administrators maximize the performance of their databases. The three new Oracle Enterprise Manager toolkits are the Diagnostics Pack, Tuning Pack, and Management Pack, which operate atop the Enterprise Manager built into the Oracle7 and Oracle8 databases.
  • ORACLE ANNOUNCED SALES SUITE UPGRADES Oracle announced an upgrade of its sales-force automation software, Front Office Application Suite, which lets IS organizations link front-end sales data to back-end financial and manufacturing data.
