Graphics 2.5 unable to set line attributes

Hi all, I have been trying to set "global" line attributes such as arrowstyle and line color on a linked scatter diagram. From what documentation I have it appears that this should be possible using stored procedures to set the arrowstyle and to set the line color. The line color will be set for each "segment" of the linked line based on the x,y endpoint value. Determinig the x,y end-point is not the problem I am having. Rather just the simple use of the OG_SET_ARROWSTYLE and how to set the line properties.

Just for note. I am not able to get the arrows set on an individual line using either the GUI or a format trigger.

I MUST be doing something wrong here?????
