    It could be because Forms 5.0.5.4.0 is still buggy. There are some major bugs in the OLE2 package, for one, and the same could go for your FFI calls. Call Oracle Support at 1-800-223-1711 and have your TAR number ready. The analyst you speak to will be able to tell you if it's a bug or not, and when it will be fixed. Release 2.1 of Developer/2000 is due out next month (March), and it will have alot of fixes to all the products. I've been wearing them out lately, and I've gotten some really good support for Forms 5.0 problems.
