Hello,

We're using Designer/2000 to develop database applications. It is possible to program database triggers and packages from within D2K, but the editors aren't user friendly (proportional font). So we developed the triggers and packages as ascii-files, separate from D2K. Last week I tried to do a retrofit of triggers and packages. That worked very well, except from my comments in the sourcecode. I have to add and edit comments in the modules afterwards. I'm about to spend some time on this, but the problem is that I cannot produce a useful programmers reference from all the information in the repository. Now I can publish the package specification to other programmers using the package. Since this is not possible from within D2K, I'll stick to my ascii-files for the time being. But it must be possible to program a programmers reference for a package, based on the contents of the repository tables with a list of all the procedures including parameters and return type and notes and other documentation. Has anyone tried this already?

Thanks
