The Advanced Techniques manual of the Developer/2000 documentation set has a chapter on porting forms. If you use common fonts and sizes you can get forms that look pretty good on both platforms, except that right-aligned text on NT gets converted to left-aligned on Motif. (I have a TAR open with ORACLE on this one.)
